Using Microsoft PowerPoint software to create presentations? Your local bookstore might have just the desk reference you need to master all its features. The 400-page book and CD-ROM for Creating Cool PowerPoint 97 Presentations by Glenn E. Weadock and Emily Sherrill Weadock (IDG Books Worldwide, 1997) are chock full of great hints. Using presentation software won't guarantee a successful presentation, however. For tips on how to plan, prepare, and deliver a presentation check your library for books such as Business Presentations and Public Speaking by Peter H. Engel (Harvard Business School Press, 1996) and How to Give A Terrific Presentation by Karen Kalish (Amacom, 1996).
